 Proven Excellence less than 3.5% of dentists are invited to be members.

Dr. Ziomek has served on the Executive Board of the Southern Maryland Dental Society since 1991.  In 1996 she served as its president.

She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Maryland State Dental Association ("MSDA"), a constituent of the American Dental Association. She has served on various committees and councils at MSDA for over 10 years.

 In 1997, Dr. Ziomek was inducted into Fellowship in the American College of Dentists, an honor bestowed upon only 3% of dentists in the United States. The College is an organization that recognizes excellence, leadership, and ethics in the practice of dentistry.
Dr. Ziomek was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1993, and was named a Master in 2009, in recognition of her superior Continuing Education Achievement. She also sits on the Executive Board of the Maryland Academy of General Dentistry. She has been called on twice to serve as alternate Delegate to the National Annual meeting of the Academy. 
Dr. Ziomek is also a member of The Federation Dentaire International, a worldwide federation of dentists devoted to excellence in the profession.
In September 2001, Dr. Ziomek was inducted into the Pierre Fouchard Dental Honor Society.
  She is also a member of the Greater Washington Academy of Women Dentists.
