| Dr. Ziomek has received a
Governor's Citation for outstanding service and leadership
in the dental profession in Maryland. She was also
awarded a United States Congressional
Commendation for her community service in the field of dentistry. |
| Dr. Ziomek is actively involved
in raising funds and promoting dental treatment for the
underprivileged and handicapped. She is Chairperson of the Annual
Charity Silent Auction for the Maryland Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. |
| She also serves on the Board of
Directors of
Montgomery County Volunteer Dental Clinic. |
| Dr. Ziomek enjoys travel, scuba
diving, reading, and biking. She is devoted to her 3 nephews. |
